Doreen Hock-DiPolito

Councilmember Doreen Hock-DiPolito (Seat 2)

Doreen Hock-DiPolito ran unopposed for her City Council seat, taking office in February, 2012.

Hock-DiPolito previously served on the Clearwater Community Development Board for 6 years, and is active on the Clearwater Jazz Holiday/Ruth Eckerd Hall Education Board. She also serves on the Executive Board of Lighthouse of Pinellas, Youth Leadership Pinellas Board, UPARC, and Advocare Trust Executive Board Financial and Advisory Committee. She is a Board member of the Clearwater Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of Rotary Club of Clearwater, Florida, U.S.A.

She has been involved with D-Mar General Contracting and Development since 1984, a family-owned business established in 1972, and has served as president and owner since 2001.  Hock-DiPolito, a certified woman/minority General Contractor and business owner, expanded the company’s operation to include commercial development, construction management, large scale interior build-outs, and site development.

A Florida State Certified General Contractor, Hock-DiPolito completed the two-year Associate of Arts program at St. Petersburg College in Engineering. She is also a graduate of Clearwater High School. She is active in the Women on the Way program; Women’s Business Enterprise National Council; a member of Leadership Pinellas, class of 2007; and a member of the National Association of Professional & Executive Women.

Hock-DiPolito has two grown daughters, Stephanie and Samantha. She is Catholic and a member of St. Cecilia’s Church in Clearwater.

Hock-DiPolito enjoys spending time with her family, travel, skiing, scuba diving, golf, art and sky diving.
