15th Annual Celebrate Clearwater Neighborhoods Day Block Party

Celebrate Clearwater Neighborhoods Day will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m.

The purpose of this event is to promote a sense of community and bring neighbors together. A block party may not be held to promote religious, political or special individual interests. Applications must be submitted by April 4, 2014.

Barricades are required for blocked streets and events held after dark. They may be rented by applicant from private vendors.
One lane must remain clear and accessible to emergency vehicles at all times per Florida Fire Prevention Code.

If city personnel are requested at your event, please note they will be scheduled, however, their attendance cannot be guaranteed. Emergency personnel may be called for service.

Celebrate Clearwater Neighborhoods Day - Grant Program

In an effort to increase attendance at Celebrate Clearwater Neighborhoods Day, the City of Clearwater is offering participating neighborhoods a $250 grant. To be eligible for the grant, each neighborhood group applying must explain what the $250 will be used toward and how they believe it will increase resident participation in Celebrate Clearwater Neighborhoods Day.

To apply for the grant, please complete the information below:
     1. How much of your neighborhood association or group budget is allotted for Celebrate Clearwater Neighborhoods Day?
        

     2. How would you use the $250 grant to increase participation in this event?
        

     3. Why do you believe this will bring more people to your party?
        

     4. Please provide the name of the organization to whom the $250 check should be written. (If applicable, the check should be addressed to a Homeowner/Condo Association or the Association's president. All names submitted will be verified for eligibility.)
       

The email address and phone number submitted with this application will be used to inform the neighborhood within five (5) business days of submission whether the grant was approved.
