9/3/2015 - City of Clearwater moves to online development applications

The city’s Planning and Development Department will require development applications to be submitted online beginning Oct. 1.
Paper applications will no longer be accepted for any Level One (Flexible Standard) or Level Two (Flexible Development) projects.
Applicants must submit their online application by visiting ePermit.myclearwater.com. The online application will require materials to be submitted in a specific order, and it must contain solely the information that is required for the project.

The city of Clearwater Planning and Development Department will host three public meetings designed to help develop the North Marina Area Master Plan.
The schedule for the community meetings is:
• Aug. 26th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
• Sept. 16th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. The second meeting will be a planning and design charrette/public workshop.
• Oct. 20th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
All three meetings will be held at the North Greenwood Recreation Center, 900 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave.

On Aug. 11, Clearwater Gas System welcomed another major partner in the effort to reduce our nation’s dependence on petroleum. Progressive Waste Solutions, a local waste hauler, will soon begin fueling four compressed natural gas, or CNG, residential garbage trucks at Clearwater Gas System’s fueling station on Hercules Avenue. more
