Aging Well Center Offers Gardening Programs

CLEARWATER, Fla. The Clearwater Aging Well Center, 1501 N. Belcher Road will host two presentations in March aimed at encouraging activities in the fresh, early Spring air while offering ideas to beautify outdoor living and recreational environments.

Tuesday, March 11, 2 to 3 p.m., Siobhan Nehin will introduce Garden Fairies, a large group of creative Upper Pinellas residents who get together to transform spaces such as residential backyards or community gardens with foliage, decorative walkways, water features, outdoor furnishings, pottery and outdoor artwork.

Tuesday, March 18, from 2 to 3 p.m., master gardener Jack Moss and his grandson, botanist Tyler McCann, will share tips for creating Florida-friendly landscaping.

Both programs are free, but advance registration is recommended. Call 724-3070 for registration. Additional programming information is available online at
