City of Clearwater Offers Fundraising Opportunities for Non-Profit Groups

CLEARWATER, Fla. – The City of Clearwater Parks and Recreation Department is looking for Clearwater affiliated, non-profit organizations in the community interested in becoming a fundraising group. Fundraising groups work at some of the city’s special events to earn money for its organization.
We are currently in need of groups to work the entrance gates at Clearwater Celebrates America on Friday, July 4 at Coachman Park. Groups who work the gates must be capable of providing at least 10 participants who are 16 years or older. All participants must be comfortable searching through patron bags and belongings. Group will receive instructions before beginning and will earn fundraising dollars for participating.
All eligible groups must register through the Volunteer Specialist. Once approved, they will have the opportunity to participate in future events. Groups may also have the opportunity to work a soda wagon or a beer truck for fundraising dollars at future events.
