Upcoming Road & Lane Closures in Clearwater

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- The following road and lane closures will take place in the City of Clearwater:

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 23

Traffic along the northbound curb lane of Gulfview Boulevard will shift starting Wednesday, Oct. 23 through Monday, Oct. 28. It will then be closed to accommodate construction related to the Gulfview Boulevard Stormwater Improvement project. Bayway Boulevard is open again to traffic. The current traffic flow will be maintained with one lane in each direction.

NOW THROUGH NOV. 4

South Evergreen Avenue mid-block from Bellevue Boulevard to Lakeview Road will be closed to traffic (with exception of local traffic) now through Monday, Nov. 4, due to construction relating to a traffic calming project. Byron Drive can be used as a detour route.

THURSDAY & FRIDAY, OCT. 24 & 25

Skyview Avenue from Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard to Turner Street will be closed both Thursday and Friday, Oct. 24 and 25 (including overnight) due to a stormwater drainage pipe repair. Crest Avenue can be used as a detour route.

STARTING MONDAY, OCT. 28

South Gulfview Boulevard near the intersection of Bayway Boulevard will be closed to traffic starting Monday, Oct. 28 for two weeks to accommodate construction related to the Gulfview Boulevard Stormwater Improvement project. Traffic can use Gulf Boulevard and Parkway Drive to Bayway Boulevard as detour routes.

Druid Road from Corbett Street to Belleview Blvd. will be closed starting Monday, Oct. 28 through Nov. 28 due to roadway improvements that will be made. Motorists can use Fort Harrison Avenue as a detour route.
